Fully washable at 40 degrees. Designed for use on bath hoists, wheelchairs
or chairs to prevent the development of sacral decubitus ulcers
and relieve pressure on the scapula. Tested against a visco-elastic
cushions & leading air cushion, the Orthodocs cushion demonstrated
significantly lower average pressures & significantly better
pressure distribution. (Rehabilitation Sciences Group - University
of Ulster Jan. 2001.). Classified as semi-disposable, it is ideal
for those requiring patient specific products to eliminate the risk
of cross infection. Autoclavable, vapour permeable cover available.
