Necrosis prevention and treatment.
A soft, round cushion, designed to
enclose the heel of a patient whose skin around the heel is at risk
of breaking down. The heel is elevated, removing the risk of pressure
sores. The cushion can also be used to retain the moisture in skin
that has already broken down, thereby promoting the healing process.
The cushion is lightweight and washable
at 40 degrees C.
